Stop caring for the minority

Many idiots in Singapore feel that we need to trouble the general population to care for the lives of a pathetic 1 to 5% of the people who have health conditions such as weak immune system. When they caught the virus they probably need oxygen support or they will be panting like dogs, HAAAHHAAAH. Because a lot of people don't want that to happen we have such strict measures. To be honest if these people are gone it makes not much difference for the society. First they only make up a minority and second because they are old frail, they can't be much of a use to the society anymore, they are only a big burden. If we have to sacrifice their lives for everyone's freedom so be it. Their lives are like a piece of waste paper can be easily torn and unnecessary. Many idiots argue "what if they were your parents". I do not know why these kind of dog barkings are everywhere when it's out right nonsensical. Something that has a one in 100 or even fewer chance to happen

The trouble with being honest about your covid status

This is the Singapore government's protocol on COVID. As you can see, if you caught the virus or found to be a close contact, a hell lot of trouble is waiting for you. Recently, there are few covid cases in my hall, which led to tightened restrictions like no dine-in. All these troubles can be avoided if we choose not to be transparent. Self-test or ART test is the government's main way of identifying covid cases. They are required on a periodic basis by many companies or schools and also required to attend events. Close contacts are identified either by self declaration or Trace Together gadgets which uses Bluetooth to capture information about another person if you stayed close to him for too long. The government can also use Trace Together to search for all the people who attended an event when a case is confirmed in that event. All these leaves me with one question, why do people need to be honest with their Covid status when there might be a hell lot of trouble waiting f

What my blog is for

When COVID 19 hit, we had been on restrictions for over 2 years. Our freedom is gone and a lot of events we can participate in stopped. "Apologies, this event is cancelled due to COVID 19". The constant tightening and loosening of restrictions just for a few pathetic lives are making people sick. Life is boring and meaningless, I am a NUS student and because of COVID, many of my lessons have been forced online. I find it very hard to make friends, which defeats the purpose of student life. University is a time for youths to build long lasting friendships and all these have been robbed away without compensations just to prevent the disease from spreading and save a few worthless lives. Honestly, when youths caught the virus nothing serious should happen. I will give a brief introduction of what COVID 19 is. Its basically a flu like disease with a mortality rate of less than 1%. In Singapore only 0.26% of the infected died. Over 90% of the infected are asymptomatic or have mil
